Birthing the same way our elders & ancestors have done for centuries

At Divine Alignment  we believe in empowering families to make informed decisions during the birthing process. Our philosophy centers around respect, dignity, and a deep understanding of individual needs and honoring all that is well within your birthright. We embrace a holistic approach to childbirth and our focus is on supporting the physical, emotional, spiritual & well-being of mothers and their newborns. 

You can choose from our two visit package, three visit package or our virtual package. During our prenatal visits we will discuss what birth looks like for you. We will discuss many topics such as birth rights, advocacy, informed consent. We will discuss pregnancy history, concerns, comfort measures, birth planning, stages of labor, role of a doula, responses to labor, pain management, breathing techniques, mindfulness, interventions, breast/chest feeding, signs of labor, pregnancy nutrition, physical activity during pregnancy and many more relevant topics. 

Whether you have decided on in person labor and birth support, or virtual we are on call as of 38 weeks or sooner if necessary. You have the option to be supported at home during early stages of labor or met at the hospital in active labor. (Our visits leading up until birth will prepare you for this time) During labor we will be doing comfort measures, walking, resting or whatever is best for you. You will be supported in all phases of labor and pushing. 

After childbirth we will help with placenta care, immediate breastfeeding (unless you have chosen otherwise) emotional and physical support. Once you have arrived home we will help with newborn care, daily tasks, and many things to make the transition easier for you. We believe the 4th trimester is most crucial and our focus is on wellness, care and nurturing the mother in this time.

Providing personilized support for birthing person and adoptive family through labor, delivery and adoption transition. 

Providing bereavement support for fatal diagnosis, carrying to term, and NICU care.

We provide physical, informational and emotional support. Doula care has been linked to shorter births, reduction in epidurals, reduction in cesareans and reduction in pain medicine requests.
